Football Club Brand Identity
Racing Club, one of Argentina’s most iconic football teams, has a history full of firsts: from winning seven consecutive championships, to having its stadium built by its own fans, and even taking home an Oscar. As the first great Argentine football club, Racing’s legacy is both rich and unique.
 
Our brand identity for this storied institution was designed to honour its past while paving the way for its future.
Their legacy of firsts should never be forgotten, so we designed the number 1 using shapes taken from the Racing Club badge. The result was a graphic element that uniquely connects the number and the brand to RC. We then extended this design element to all brand applications.
Being ‘the first’ is always a great victory, but it also carries a certain weight. Our design concept was to embed the number 1 into the brand’s core identity as a constant reminder for players, fans, and stakeholders. A symbol of past achievements, but also of the responsibility that comes with living up to that coveted status.
We created a new brand identity, including new logos, fonts and colors, designed to shine across every brand touchpoint, from print to merchandise, from screen to stadium. All serving as reminders of the first great Argentine club: Racing FC.
